4 large red apples
1 1/2 cups Malibu Island Spiced
1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup plain flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup cold unsalted butter
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp ground nutmeg
Peel and thinly slice apples, soak in Malibu Island spiced for an hour.
In a large bowl mix oats, flour and sugar. Cut in cold butter until the crumble mixture has a sandy consistency.
Since you will use the Malibu Island Spiced in another step, take the sliced apples out and layer with the crumble mixture twice over in a 9"x4" pan. Pour the Malibu Island Spiced over the top layer of crumble.
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes
